So Proud!
Shelby's Uncle Charlie leaves for Iraq tomorrow so we wanted to post and let him know how very proud we are of him. Charlie is a Second Lieutenant in the marines and is in an AAV (amphibious assault vehicle) company. I think I have that right? He will be back in May, just in time to enjoy the beautiful summer in Southern California. Charlie and Kelsey (Ross' sister) are stationed in San Diego. We hope Aunt Kelsey will come stay with us while he is gone. I really need a nanny that will work for room and board! Hahaha!! We will be anxiously awaiting Uncle Charlie's return with stories and his take on it all. I think Ross wants to hear about shooting all the big weapons and all that guy stuff. Uncle Charlie we will be praying for you!

We have a nephew-in-law from Arkansas who just went back to Iraq for his second tour. I wish the best to Shelby's Uncle Charlie. We appreciate the sacrifice these guys are making and pray they make it home safely!
